Project Goals

Recover from penalties and regain traction in the SERPs

Project Type: SEO  Marketing Strategy, Analytics, Penalty Recovery.

Client: Linnea Lenkus | Los Angeles Portrait Studio

When Linnea first contacted me she had been working with a few bad SEOs in the past and her once highly ranked site had been slapped with multiple penalties. We went over her options and possible plans of attack and agreed on on a  a one year contract. After an in-depth analysis I did see hope in being able to recover and retain her current domain, so from there I went to work on formulating a successful strategy to recover her rankings,

Process

After an in-depth analysis I did see hope in being able to recover and retain her current domain, so from there I went to work on formulating a strategy to recover her rankings, which included but was not limited to the following:

  • Development and and implementation of marketing strategy
  • Disavowing over 10,000 bad links
  • Re designing & Restructuring website according to google standards.
  • Revision of internal linking structure
  • Proper canonicalization and 301 redirects.
  • Link building using white-hat SEO techniques for high quality relevant and organic back links
  • Content Creation
  • Copy Writing
  • Compressing and optimizing of images, videos etc
  • Improving speed and user experience
  • Turning traffic into conversions

Result

Ultimately I was able to request a google review and get her site ranking organically in the #1 #2 and #3 positions for her most profitable keywords in a highly saturated market. In addition to ranking in the top position in google I also had her ranking on page one for all of her desired keywords within a matter of months.

  • 100% Penalty Recovery
  • Dominated the SERPs in position #1, #2, #3  Organic ranking in Google.
  • Dominated local maps listings
  • Page one for over 50 keywords

Conclusion

My strategies were successfull and Linnea signed with me for another year. I truly enjoyed not only working on this project, but the relationship that was formed as a result of this contract.
